Message to the members: For more than 25 years, my family has had many opportunities to appreciate the financial services and benefits available to STCU members. Time and again, STCU has helped us meet our financial goals and needs. Now I take great pride in "giving back" to my credit union through my service as a member of the Board of Directors. During my 30+ years as a school district administrator, I dealt with a wide variety of issues, many of which correlate to challenges faced by STCU today. As a result, my focus as a board member has been to support steady growth of our credit union while enhancing value for our credit union members.

Resume: Wally has a BA in Speech/Education from Washington State University, a Masters in Speech/Education from Eastern Washington University, and an Administrative Certificate from Eastern Washington University. He was employed for 36 years with Central Valley School District and retired as Superintendent in 2003. Wally has been active with the following organizations: Spokane Valley YMCA Advisory Board, Washington School Employees Credit Union Advisory Board, Spokesman-Review Advisory Board, Girl Scouts Board of Directors Nominations Committee.
