Message to the members: STCU is a cooperative financial institution, founded on "people-helping-people" principles, and it has long been a goal of mine to serve on this Board. I bring with me a Bachelor's degree in Business, a Master's in Organizational Leadership, and over 30 years experience in Spokane's business community. During that time, I dealt with issues very similar to those facing STCU, and from those experiences developed a leadership style that shares STCU's core values of Integrity, People, Service, Innovation, Education, and Celebration. I am honored to be appointed to this Board and be part of this great organization.

Resume: Mike received his BA in Business Administration at San Jose State University and his Masters in Organizational Leadership at Gonzaga University. He retired after 23 years at Avista Corporation. Mike's past volunteer activities have included: Director - Avista Employees Credit Union; Director - Inland Empire Natural Gas Association; Judge - Regional DECA and FFA competitions; Avista Campaign Coordinator for Juvenile Diabetes; United Way Day of Caring; and Business Week.
