Job Accountabilities
35% Intranet Content Management Systems
· Responsible for the planning, organizing, establishment, maintenance and direction of STCU's internal collaboration portal and information repositories such as the Insider and Learning Management Systems
· Responsible for the research, changes, development, and coordination of Intranet content during system upgrades, retirement, and deployment.
· Responsible for selecting the most appropriate communication and repository methods through evaluation of the business unit's needs, technical limitations, cost, and resources required for design and long term maintenance.
· Evaluate and prioritize all STCU content needs in accordance with STCU's strategic initiatives, ROI, and impact and coordinates regularly with content providers and other stakeholders.
· Maintain accurate technical documentation of the intranet content management environment.
· Prioritize and resolve Intranet helpdesk requests for the insider and other content management platforms.
· Make recommendations on long term retention and organization of information.
· Work with available resources in other departments to aid in department and project based web sites for collaboration and documentation purposes.
· Responsible for developing and maintaining effective disaster recovery documentation and procedures.
· Develop, implement, and oversee content management system procedures as well as define standards and best practice.
· Track and measure system performance to ensure high reliability, and data integrity.
· Track and monitor usage trends of information such as documents hits and common search terms.
30% RedDot (stcu.org) content management system
· Configure and administer third-party solutions for website content management, personalization, interactivity, and delivery of other non-transactional online value.
· Manage user privileges and assure system availability in compliance with negotiated service level agreements with stakeholders. Establish system-level configuration benchmarks, and document system-level changes.
· Provide assistance in training end users to support broadly distributed content authorship.
· Evaluate and perform vendor software upgrades for Red Dot and related systems.
· Research and evaluate software updates, drivers, knowledge bases, frequently asked questions, and other resources internally and on the Internet to aid in problem resolution.
· Interact and communicate with system experts and vendors on hardware and software issues including upgrades, security patches, disaster recovery procedures, and system maintenance.
· Analyze and document non-transactional website feature requirements, deploy web content templates to support those features, develop navigation systems consistent with ease-of-use and ease-of-access expectations, leveraging the capabilities native to STCU's content management system.
· Test non-transactional website features to assure proper functioning and quality of experience.
· Periodically review technologies available to deliver website and e-mail content personalization, Web 2.0 interactivity, and other non-transactional functionality deployed on STCU.org and recommend systems and add-on components to improve website content relevance and encourage user-generated value.
· Initiate Request for Proposal, create product and services selection criteria, and perform product evaluations. Make recommendation base on evaluation results.
· Track and measure system performance to ensure high reliability, and data integrity of assigned online systems.
· Monitor and analyze online traffic and usage patterns and accurately report results describing the use of member website interactions, inside and outside of home banking.
· Discern usage patterns that lead to actionable improvements in the delivery of online value.
· Maintain regular communications with technology providers to ascertain strategic and product feature directions, to report and seek resolution of product defects, and to submit and monitor development of requested feature enhancements.
· Monitor the performance of third-party service providers to assure quality and service levels are maintained. Immediately report any situations where service and support levels are not within standards.
· Assess and respond as appropriate to feedback reported within STCU's technical assistance support solution in a timely manner.
20% Projects
· Prioritize, plan, and execute assigned deliverables and tasks according to deadlines and budgets set by a project leader.
· Maintain effective project communications with team leader, team members, champions, sponsors and other credit union staff.
· Provide internal consulting that supports the technology needs of other departments.
10% Individual and Team Development
1. Self and team Development
· Dedicate time for self development for on-going leadership, technical, and personal growth.
· Provide consulting to Information Systems employees to continually increase competency, and promote team depth and unity.
· Foster and maintain constructive relationships.
· Understand STCU and IT department's strategic plan and be able to tie job responsibilities and projects to these plans while supporting and emulating the Core Values.
· Provide backup support for other IS positions and systems when require and/or assigned
2. Compliance, Security and Disaster Recovery
· Maintain knowledge in and adhere to compliance standards for the department.
· Adhere to security procedures and fraud controls to protect members, staff, and assets.
· Assist in the maintenance, neatness, and security of work areas and equipment.
· Recommend changes to the disaster recovery plan for the department and perform testing in accordance with DRP testing plan.
3. Policies/Procedures/Processes
· Adhere to policies, procedures and established processes for the department.
· Recommend policy / procedural changes and process improvements to assist in the achievement of the strategic goals of the organization.
4. Other Miscellaneous Duties
· Perform additional duties as required by the Information Systems Manager or other designee for efficient operation of the credit union.
5% Technology Strategy
· Research and analyze technology solutions and best practices.
· Identify and recommend technology strategies that meet the organizational goals and objectives.
· Assess and cultivate long-term strategic goals for data warehousing in conjunction with Management Team, directors, managers and end-users.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
1. College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science, information systems, web design, or computer engineering and/or 3 years equivalent work experience.
2. Experience with content management software, including solutions from Microsoft, RedDot, SumTotal, and others where relevant.
3. Microsoft Sharepoint certification and formal content management systems training or learning management system administration strongly preferred.
4. Working technical experience with designing, building, installing, configuring and supporting Microsoft Sharepoint, RedDot and other systems depending on need.
5. Ability to define business unit needs and translate them to efficient storage of information that can be easily searched on and retrieved, as well as experience with indexing and search technologies as they relate to sorting and locating content.
6. Experience with web servers and publically facing websites, as well as, applied experience with website design, web 2.0, document repositories, and knowledge management techniques.
7. Hands-on forms web server administration and troubleshooting including DNS and IIS.
8. Practical experience with HTML, Javascript, HTML, Flash, XML, and other web technologies and programming languages.
9. Versed in a variety of browser software as the market demands including mobile technology
10. Exceptional attention to detail, as well as strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities.
11. Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.
12. Good written, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
13. Previous experience conducting research into database issues, standards and products.
