Go Casual For Kids

STCU members and staff raise money for local kids

[September 28, 2010]

Congratulations to STCU members and staff, who donated more than $1,455 through Miracle Jeans Day. That’s $200 more than collected last year!

Those contributions will be matched by the CO-OP Financial Services Miracle Match program, for a total of $2,910 to benefit children in the Inland Northwest.

Miracle Jeans Day is a nationwide fundraiser for Children’s Miracle Network. STCU employees who made a contribution to Children's Miracle Network wore jeans in lieu of the traditional work attire on September 15. STCU members were invited to make a donation at any branch that day.

With your help, STCU raises thousands of dollars each year for Children’s Miracle Network, with all of the money going toward programs and hospitals that help chronically ill children in Eastern Washington and North Idaho.

These are some of the organizations that benefit:

  • Holy Family Hospital
  • Kootenai Medical Center
  • Mt. Carmel Hospital-Colville
  • Northwest MedStar Air Ambulance
  • Partners with Families and Children
  • Sacred Heart Children's Hospital
  • St. Joseph's Hospital-Chewelah
  • St. Luke's Rehabilitation Institute

Thanks to STCU members and staff who participated in Miracle Jeans Day.
