Fair tradition

Cap summer with a visit to an agricultural fair

[July 1, 2011]

You could end summer without scratching the belly of a pig. There’s no law saying you must ride the Tilt-a-Whirl before autumn can begin. School will eventually start even if you don’t eat a funnel cake or see a giant pumpkin.

But wouldn’t the change of seasons feel a little empty?

Luckily, the Inland Northwest has a wide selection of fairs where you can cap your summer with an experience that’s all about tradition, entertainment and fun.

From the summer edition of our member newsletter, OSI, here is our guide to 21 fairs in Eastern Washington and North Idaho.
