Truth-in-Savings Disclosures

The following disclosures apply to the Spokane Teachers Credit Union Business Plus Account.

  1. Rate information. The Dividend Rate and Annual Percentage Yield (APY) on your accounts are set forth above. For dividend-bearing accounts, the Dividend Rate and Annual Percentage Yield may change monthly as determined by the Board of Directors. The Business Plus Checking Account is a tiered-rate account. It must maintain the disclosed balance ranges to earn the disclosed Annual Percentage Yield. Once the minimum balance range is met, the higher Dividend Rate and Annual Percentage Yield will apply to the entire balance in your account.
  2. Nature of Dividends. Dividends are paid from current income and available earnings after required transfers to reserves at the end of the dividend period. The Dividend Rate and Annual Percentage Yield are the prospective rates and yields that STCU anticipates paying for the dividend period.
  3. Compounding and Crediting. Dividends will be compounded and credited as set forth above. The Dividend Period begins on the first calendar day of the period and ends on the last calendar day of the period.
  4. Accrual of Dividends. Dividends will begin to accrue on both cash and non-cash deposits (e.g. checks) on the business day you make the deposit to your account. Accrued dividends will not be paid if you close your account before accrued dividends are credited.
  5. Balance Information. Dividends are calculated by the daily balance method, which applies a daily periodic rate to the principal in the account each day. The minimum balance required to open this account is set forth above. If the minimum balance is not met, you will not earn the stated Annual Percentage Yield. The minimum daily balance required to avoid a service fee during the dividend period is set forth above.
  6. Account Limitations. There are no limits on the number of transactions and transfers initiated from the Business Plus Checking Account.
